Do NOT make your person all powerful.

Some of the most powerful and rare of the Magiked are those that have the elemental gifts. Fire, Water, Earth, etc. (Do not make every character an elemental whether by a little bit or not.)


For a long time it was these rare ones that were the backbone of the magiked, assisting the ones with weather elemental gifts and others in fighting droughts and famine and other natural, devastating disasters.

Some gifts that are not so rare are the gifts with plants, herbs or healing, understanding certain animals (full animal understanding is not common), and many more. Mind or emotion reading are a little less common, in fact they can be found in varying degrees of strength, but due to the implications of such powers no one really wants to admit to such a gift so the true number of people as such is unknown.

Shape shifting usually ranges from demiform (half form) to a few full shapes. Once again, full spectrum isn't common but not entirely rare. The rare ones can shift to look like other people or disguise completely.

There are quite a few gifted with combat of ALL sorts per gift. There are many magiked abilities not states above and unknown.

~ Abilities are sometimes passed down through a family, but it is not uncommon for the children to be gifted with a different gift than their parents.~
