Seeking to make your own Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Comic? Here are some easy steps to create yours now!

    Sources
    ------------
    Deviantart- Comic Template
    Google "Spriter's Resources" 1st one

    Tools Needed
    --------------
    Ms PAINT
    Snipping Tool
    Patience

    STEP 1. GATHERING YOUR SPRITES
    ---------------------------------
The first step to gathering your sprites is Googling "Spriter's Resources" and clicking the first option.

On the home page you should see a bar to the right that gives you options for a system

You want to use both DS and Gameboy Advance

Once in one of these options, it will tell you to pick a letter above. This is for the title of the game. Pick "P"

Once you scroll down you should see Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Pick whatever and you'll get a table full of Pokemon, Backgrounds, and Extra Sprites.

    FOR GATHERING POKEMON SPRITES
    ------------------------------
Click on a pokemon and it should open it up as a picture. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!! Now you will use your snipping tool

Make a square or rectangle around all of the sprites for 1 pokemon, if it has evolutions make separate files for them.

Left click over the picture in snipping tool and hit Copy. \

    OPEN MS PAINT NOW!!!

Go to paste and paste, the picture should show up. Hit white so both color boxes are white. Use the "filler" tool, dipping paint bucket, and make the background for the sprites white.

Zoom in 500 and check over each sprite to make sure there are no more green spaces. If there are, fill them in white.

Zoom back out and click file then save as. SAVE AS A PNG FILE NOT JPEG FOR SPRITES

Now you repeat for every Pokemon you gather as sprites

    GATHERING BACKGROUND
    ---------------------
For certain background you will need to save as PNG for others just save as JPeg.

How do you tell? If the backgrounds have a gathering of little strips of say, the ocean than this will be PNG

If the background is solid it will be JPEG

Just use snipping tool to gather the background and save directly from that as either a PNG or JPEG

    POKEMON PORTRAITS
    ------------------
These are the easiest to gather but you need 2 more things to have the actual gaming effect which are the text boxes and portrait frames

For the frames and text boxes go to the Gameboy Advance section under P and hit Mystery Dungeon. Scroll down to find text then use snipping tool to gather your frames. LEft click and copy into an empty PAINT file then make the background white. Ignore the messed up text. Save to a PNG

For the frames simply search in the Pokemon portraits and they should be at the bottom. Use the same steps as the text boxes.

Use snipping tool for pokemon head-shot Portraits and save to a JPEG

    COMIC TEMPLATE
    -----------------
Here is the template you should use.
    http://fav.me/d39brjm

Hit the download button then left click and copy. Paste in empty PAINT file and save as JPEG. Done

    YAY NOW EVERYTHING IS GATHERED!!!!

NOW YOU MUST MAKE YOUR COMIC. DO NOT STRESS OUT IT TAKES TIME.

Open an empty PAINT file and extend the end of the "white" base so you have more room. Hit "Paste from" to add your sprites, backgrounds, text boxes, frames, and comic layout. Organize everything as you add.

FIRST STEP - ADD YOUR BACKGROUND
    -------------
Now you need to crop a section off of your background and drag it over to one of the 6 boxes in your comic frame. Stretch it to fit and copy them paste in each box or however you like.

SECOND STEP -- ADD YOUR POKEMON
    ------------------------------
There are so many positions to choose but you must select one for each pokemon in a small square.

Go to select and turn on the transparency selection. Now drag your sprite figure onto one of the boxes and place it somewhere. Make sure to have room to put text boxes at the top or bottom of each frame!

    THIRD STEP--- ADD TEXT BOXES
    --------------------------
Now you may have to copy and paste a few of the boxes for multiple useage, pink for the girls speaking and blue for the boys, so know how many you need before you crop.

Grab a box using crop and make sure the transparency selection is on. Place it in one of the 6 boxes and add/copy more to the other boxes. 1 Text box per frame.

Now grab a black strip and copy it 6 times, or however many you need. Stretch it to fit in the text box frames.

    FOURTH STEP---- ADD PORTRAITS
    ---------------------------
Okay so frames will be the same way as the text boxes in copying and pasting. Add a blue or pink frame above or below the text box at the left for the bottom and right for the top.

Now take a Pokemon head-shot and crop it then stretch it to fit in the frame.

5TH AND FINAL STEP----- ADDING TEXT
    -----------------------------
Now save your comic as a JPEG and upload to Photobucket.com, make sure to have an account first!

Edit the upload and crop the comic frame so it's alone. Go to TEXT in Decorate and zoom in on the pic.

Use whatever font as long as it is WHITE and have the background transparent. Stretch to fit in the text boxes as you type.

Now edit the colors, resize, whatever. Save AND ENJOY X3

NOW YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN PMD COMIC!! POST YOURS IN COMMENTS HERE!!!
